These are the reasons I love my job so much!! This bridal party was a blast to hang out with and beautify the morning of R’s wedding, and I am grateful she counted on us to make sure her and her ladies looked absolutely beautiful!
When R contacted me and was looking for makeup and hair for her wedding – I knew I had to get my main hairstylist, Amanda on board. Not only did Amanda get married at Whonnock late this past October, but I was also fortunate enough to get her ready for her big day as well! I knew it would be special to have Amanda there, and she was definitely on board! We arrived to our getting ready location and was greeted by R’s amazing family. They were so unbelievably accommodating and made me feel right at home. Her bridesmaids are also moms, and had their adorable babies with them, and let’s just say adorable babies aren’t distracting at all! 😉
We got all the bridesmaids ready, and then it was R’s turn. She has to be one of the most relaxed brides I have ever met! She was hanging out with everyone while they were getting ready, making sure the babies were going down for their naps, and singing to them when they were getting fussy (insert heart melting comment here.)
R opted for a super simple look with a touch of emerald green shadow on her lids, she’s from up north and wanted to bring that into the overall look – and she definitely did. As all my brides know – I highly recommend false lashes on your wedding day, they just make everything pop, and R was definitely a little hesitant about the lashes, but her happy reaction when she looked in the mirror was absolutely priceless!
(How cute is this first look photo!! You can tell how in love R is with her hubby!)
Big thank you to the amazing Aileen Choi for taking some beautiful photos! If you don’t follow her – you must! Head to her site now to see more of her amazing work.
Thank you again to R. Amanda and myself had a wonderful time getting you and your ladies ready, and wish you and your new hubby nothing but the best!
